Posting images to your website

After you have resized your images along the guidelines of the preceding tutorial

1. You can hand off your image to Manila
Manila is a very user friendly program, when it comes to showing images along with a story. Just be careful that you have resized your image First!

When you've opened Manila click the link ' Pictures ' at the top of the page your at.

On the destination page click
' Create a New Picture ', this is at the bottom of the page.

You have arrived where the action is; press the ' browse ' -button and find your image, in its folder.

Name it at Title, note that the title will be very useful later. The title will be the way you reference your actual picture.
(You should use a name without special characters or spaces. As you advance your abilities you will avoid problems).

It's a really great idea to write a little text along with your image. You could use this to identify the source or perhaps note the version of your image.

When you are finished, press
' Post New Picture ', now your picture is available.

2. Place your image

The last few steps to finally place your image in your Manila story

Choose the story where your image is supposed to go, you can do this by pressing ' Stories '. Select your story, between the stories that are offered.

At the very bottom of the page containing your story, press ' Edit this Page '.

Place your image by writing your title in quotation marks (""), if I want to place a gif containing a part of a toolbox, I write its title (toolbox) in quotation marks:

Then press ' Post Changes '... The gif looks like this: That is all, now you are able to do this on your own.
